CU Keling Kumang was established on March 25, 1993 in Tapang Sambas Village, Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan Province. It has obtained a Provincial Legal Entity Status no. 50b/BH/PAD/X since 20 April 2011.
CU Keling Kumang was founded because it was concerned about the issues of poverty, injustice, land grabbing, enviromental degradation, lack of job opportunities, and powerlessness of marginalized groups.
